Over the years, many people have asked me to share my story and the various things I do. To me, I just do me, but to others, I manage to make them feel loved and appreciated, which is really what life is about. My joy comes from sharing with friends, family, and even strangers, showing them they are important to me. Additionally, I often draw inspiration from craft and decor ideas that celebrate these connections.
Life has not always been easy. I was fortunate to marry an amazing man who loves the Lord, and we have been happily married for 26 years. However, from 2019 to 2023, I faced the most difficult challenge of my life, caring for my father who had dementia with Lewy bodies, and also caring for my mother who battled cancer. During this challenging time, I also lost my older brother. I found that I could not get through the day on my own, which led me to rely heavily on my Heavenly Father. He carried me through the pain and trauma, and I discovered the power of prayer journaling. This practice became a way for me to express my feelings and has brought me closer to God than ever before.
I have been diligently working on 'The One Year Daily Prayer Journal' for the last few years, and I am proud to say that 'Praise & Encouragement From Psalms & Proverbs' is now available. I used an older edition this year, and it has helped me grow deeper in my walk with Jesus than ever before. The next prayer journals, 'Gratitude & Prayer' (based loosely on the Lord's Prayer) and 'Honoring God' (based on the 10 Commandments), are scheduled to be available in November 2026. I love to create things and share them as gifts to make people smile. Knowing something was handmade means you were thought of throughout the process and not just for a moment. Sometimes it is nice to brighten up your home with the craft and decor ideas you create to cheer up your family and visitors. Engaging in activities like prayer journaling also adds a personal touch to my creations, reminding me of the joy in Kicking At Life with KT.

Food is the way to your heart, and nothing says love quite like a good meal or an amazing dessert. Cooking and baking are my outlets for stress relief, allowing me to express my love to my family and beyond. It’s also a chance for me to unleash my imagination and create delicious dishes that turn into a party in your mouth. Alongside my culinary adventures, I enjoy exploring craft and decor ideas to enhance my home, and I often share my journey on 'Kicking At Life with KT.' Additionally, I find prayer journaling to be a profound way to reflect and connect, making the whole experience even more meaningful.
